Job Title: Welder Helper

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder Helper to join our team at Wrought Iron Art. As a Welder Helper, you will assist our experienced welders in the fabrication and assembly of metal products, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist welders in the fabrication and assembly of metal products, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment and manually.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions and grind or chip excess metal using hand tools.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, and load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Client focus and attention to detail.
  • Organized and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
