RailWorks Boom Truck Operator

RailWorks Corporation is seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating boom trucks on rail and road, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
SalaryThe salary range for this position is $30.94 per hour, depending on experience.
About the JobThis is a physically demanding role that requires working at construction sites, lifting heavy equipment, and being exposed to harsh weather conditions. The successful candidate must have a Class 1 or 3 License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
Key Responsibilities- Operate one or several types of boom trucks on rail or road.
- Keep up on all reports and maintain the trucks in good safe working order.
- Operate equipment to move, load, or unload material.
- Install equipment or attachments on machinery or related structures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- A valid 0-8 ton Crane ticket (training provided).
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications.
This role requires working at construction sites, which may involve:
- Using hands to handle and control materials, tools, and vehicle controls.
- Sitting for long periods of time in a closed vehicle.
- Moving or lifting heavy equipment and objects up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to harsh weather conditions, including very hot and cold temperatures.
