Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at LiGu - Private household. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and assist with personal hygiene tasks
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with regular exercise and activities, such as walking
  • Perform tasks related to personal care, including bathing and dressing
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in an urban area and in the employer's/client's home
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a client-focused approach
Work Setting:

Our Family Caregivers work in a variety of settings, including urban areas and in the homes of our clients.

Weight Handling:

Our Family Caregivers may be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of their duties.

Experience:

Our Family Caregivers have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

We support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.

Support for Youths:

We offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
