Wills and Estates Lawyer Opportunity

We're seeking a qualified candidate to spearhead the development of a Wills and Estates practice at a leading law firm in Vaughan.

In this role, you'll provide legal counsel and direction to clients on wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and associated areas.

You'll work closely with clients to analyze their individual needs and devise tailored legal strategies aligned with their goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Offering legal counsel and direction to clients on wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning
  • Developing and implementing tailored legal strategies for clients
  • Collaborating with clients to manage their estate affairs
  • Working autonomously or under the guidance of a senior lawyer

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm.

A strong understanding and expertise in wills and estates law and procedures, including estate planning, estate administration, probate of wills, and estate litigation, are essential.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional, cost-effective, and responsive legal services to clients.

Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario is required, along with strong analytical, research, and writing abilities.
