About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at South Island Deck Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors, adhering to industry standards and company specifications.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a safe and durable finish.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate and efficient planning.
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, including cleaning and preparing surfaces for new flooring.
  • Specialized Installation: Install vinyl decking materials, requiring attention to detail and expertise.
