Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
  • Exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve for client needs, delivering trusted financial advice to clients regarding their investments and retirement planning.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset when identifying client needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
  • Foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice.
  • Exercise a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.
  • Build relationships, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long-standing relationships with existing clients.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
  • Successfully completed (or working towards) the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation (or IQPF designation within Quebec), and/or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.
