Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery to our customers
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure we have a wide variety of options for our guests
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
