About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at BEST CHOICE TRUCKING LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and benefits for employees, including calculating salaries, bonuses, and other benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, including financial analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
