Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team in the certification of aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the technical plan and standards for embedded software.
  • Support the high-level software architecture of embedded systems, adhering to the DO-178B development standard.
  • Participate in the formal development of software, including specification, design, coding, and verification.
  • Ensure the quality of software components produced by team members and oversee their integration.
  • Provide clear technical updates to the team lead and customer Point of Contacts.
  • Evaluate and manage workloads effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in low-level embedded software development.
  • Experience with the DO-178 standard or equivalent.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, system, and software issues.
  • Experience in writing technical documents, including development plans and specification/design documents.
  • Proficiency in C programming language.
  • Experience with Requirement Management tools like DOORS and Integrated Development Environments like Eclipse.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CANbus, ARINC429, ethernet, Serial communication (RS-422, SPI, I2C)).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Autonomy and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French (speaking and writing).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Software Engineering.
