Job Summary:
The Banquet Server is a key member of the Food and Beverage team at Coast Hotels, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquet events. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Setup: Set up banquet rooms according to event orders, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are in place.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serve banquet meals to guests, ensuring that all food and beverage items meet the hotel's standards for quality and presentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Banquet Captain and Banquet Manager to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Certifications: Serving It Right Certification or equivalent is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
