MediPharm Labs Inc. or its wholly owned subsidiaries require a Quality Control Technician- Raw Material and Vendor to coordinate assignments related to vendors and vendor materials, initial vendor approval, material specifications, vendor qualification and maintain quality standards by verifying incoming raw material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating vendors to ensure they comply with regulatory and MediPharm Labs requirements.
  • Coordinating vendor qualification processes, including audits and quality agreements.
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Department to assess new vendors and materials for regulatory compliance.
  • Verifying incoming raw material cannabis certificates of analysis against purchase order specifications.
  • Maintaining up-to-date vendor qualification files, release records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conducting quality control activities, documenting results, and participating in audits.
  • Working closely with the QA team to promote a quality culture within the organization.
  • Inspecting and verifying received raw materials, maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with GPP/GMP standards.
  • Supporting ongoing investigations and unique projects as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in vendor qualification, raw material testing, and release.
  • Technical writing experience, including contract development.
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced environments and OOS investigations.
  • Experience working in a GMP setting, with prior laboratory or quality experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and other software applications.
  • Effective communication and teaching skills.
