Job Title: Insulation Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Vulcan Greenhouse Technology Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation systems in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation required for the job
- Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
- Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
- Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
- Operate computer software systems to assist with the installation process
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Driver's License
- Basic security clearance
- Criminal record check
- Valid driver's license
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, on-site customer service locations, and maintenance facilities. The work environment may be noisy, dusty, hot, and cold, and may require working outdoors.
