Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at Webber for a seasonal position. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining contracted assets through the operation and use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs such as snow plow operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as snow plows, graders, and mowers to maintain roads and highways
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • 1+ years of experience in related construction, road maintenance, or commercial/industrial repair
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment

The employee will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.
