Job Summary:

The Chief Pilot will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and efficient flight operations. This includes identifying aircraft maintenance faults and taking corrective actions. The Pilot will also be responsible for pre-flight planning, aircraft pre-flight checks, and coordinating with Airborne Sensor Operators and Mission Commanders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor airspace, weather, radio communications, mission flight boundaries, other air traffic, and aircraft systems.
• Coordinate all flights with Fixed Base Operators, military range control, Air Traffic Control facilities, Primary Mission Equipment Operators, Mission Commanders, and Mission Coordination Services.
• Operate modified Contractor Owned Contractor Operated aircraft in accordance with commercial and Host Nation regulations, and program policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license.
• FCC Commercial Radio Operator License.
• Prior overseas rotation experience, particularly in USCENTCOM/USAFRICOM/USAPACOM area of operations.
• Experience operating aircraft with a MTOW of 44,000 pounds or more.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.

Additional Information:

Candidates hired for this position will be subject to a post offer, pre-hire, pre-deployment medical assessment. A valid passport with at least six months remaining prior to expiration is also required.
