Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized Household Assistant to join our team at Langford Household. As a Household Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Perform laundry and ironing tasks as needed.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks as required.
  • Assist with grocery shopping and meal planning.
  • Provide companionship and support to our clients, engaging in activities and conversations as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Assist with yard work and outdoor maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in household or care work an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
