Forklift Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at BM Forklift Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace electrical system parts to ensure proper function.
  • Mechanical System Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical system parts to ensure proper function.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and isolate faults on engines, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document inspections and tests made on engines, and discuss work with supervisors.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
  • Maintenance and Service: Perform scheduled maintenance and service on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with strong attention to detail.
