Regional Operations Supervisor - Solar Farms Job Description

Spark Power is seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Supervisor - Solar Farms to join our Ontario team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day service operations and safety of customer assets in the Northern Ontario region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight and support to field technicians for maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Asset Managers and lead technicians to plan and execute service and maintenance of assets.
  • Provide professional feedback and support to clients as necessary.
  • Manage PPE, safety protocols, information, and implementation.
  • Develop and manage job quality plans, JHAs, and SOPs.
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordination of crews as required.
  • Perform site safety audits and quality inspections.
  • Complete reports to document site conditions and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education with an electrical or mechanical base an asset.
  • ABET/EAC certification will be considered an asset.
  • 309A Journeyman license an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
  • Valid Driver's License with suitable driving record.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
  • Computer and digital literacy.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to be a positive contributor to a team environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with an ability to represent Spark positively and professionally on customer sites and within the community.
  • Firm commitment to safety.
  • Passionate about renewable energy.
  • Ability to work overtime.
