Job Title: Pastry Artisan

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Artisan to join our team at Country Corner Donuts. As a Pastry Artisan, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, bread, and other baked goods in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Prepare special orders.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Draw up production schedules.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate machinery.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced bakery environment with a team-oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate is physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career growth.
