Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Technician to join our team at Watson Clinic. As an OR Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, handling instruments and supplies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available
  • Set up and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, including arranging instruments, supplies, and solutions
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, handling instruments and supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information, medication used, and any complications that arise
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with formal training as an O.R. Technician. Certification as a surgical technologist is also preferred. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
