Hairdressing Apprentice

Are you passionate about hairdressing and eager to learn the skills required to become a successful stylist? Regis Canada is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Stylist-in-Training. This temporary 90-day position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic salon environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting experienced stylists with client consultations, performing basic hair services, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also have the opportunity to observe and learn from our experienced stylists and managers, gaining valuable insights into the business and customer service aspects of the industry.

• Learns and performs basic hair services under the supervision of experienced stylists
• Assists with client consultations and takes directions from senior stylists
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Observes and learns from experienced stylists and managers

To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid cosmetology license or be currently enrolled in a cosmetology program. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills are also essential.
