We are excited to announce a full-time permanent vacancy for a Healthcare Professional in our Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) team. This is an excellent opportunity to join Medavie Health Services West, a national leader in primary health care solutions.

Job Overview

As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing independent primary clinical care and safe transportation of individuals. You will be responsible for maintaining and operating ambulances and related equipment, adhering to patient needs and public safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent primary clinical care to patients in need
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, including emergency and non-emergency responses, as well as inter-facility transfers
  • Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment to meet patient needs and ensure public safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Meet all legislated requirements for Primary Care Paramedics in Saskatchewan
  • Be currently registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics as a Primary Care Paramedic or eligible for registration
  • Hold an Advanced Certificate of Community Paramedicine or be able to enroll in the course within 18 months of start date
  • Have a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License and submit a copy with your resume
  • Possess current ITLS and CPR C for Health Care Providers certifications
  • Obtain a current clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
  • Submit a driver's abstract with your application
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently as a team member
  • Have a high regard for confidentiality and excellent work habits

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

This position is based in Western Canada, with travel required to various locations throughout the region.
