About the Role


This short-term opportunity is available at our busy Ô Masculin Barbershop & Ô Fémin Coiffure location, where you will work as a Male Hair Stylist. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave our shop feeling satisfied and looking their best.



Key Responsibilities



  • Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients' needs and delivering personalized hair care solutions;
  • Develop strong relationships with regular clients through consistent high-quality service;
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards;
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently to meet client demands;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve skills and services offered;
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and expertise;
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment by being a team player and supporting colleagues when needed;
  • Foster open communication with management and peers to address any concerns or suggestions for improvement;


Requirements



  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position;
  • A minimum of 1 month to less than 6 months of experience in a related field is necessary;
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines is an asset;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals;
  • Possess a valid Canadian work permit (if applicable);
  • Reside in close proximity to our advertised location;
  • Previous experience in this field of employment is considered an asset;
  • Meet the above-indicated required certifications;
