At J OJADI Professional Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Your duties will include consulting with other medical practitioners, prescribing and administering medications, and performing routine surgery. You will also be responsible for inoculating and vaccinating patients, participating in health care policy and planning, and advising patients on health care. Additionally, you will supervise staff and be the patient advocate. If you have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and at least 5 years of experience, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.

Work Setting: Private practice

Tasks:

  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Perform and assist in routine surgery
  • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
  • Participate in health care policy and planning
  • Advise patients on health care
  • Supervise staff
  • Be the patient advocate
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Provide acute care management
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
  • Supervise home care services

  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
