Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to lower-level planners, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Support Planning and Scheduling activities, prepare project schedules, and provide guidance to lower-level planners.
  2. Resource Management: Load Resource/Budget Schedule, set up Baseline Schedule, and update Schedule.
  3. Progress Measurement: Monitor and control the progress of work against the Schedule, prepare and update Resource requirements reports, and report critical schedule issues.
  4. Communication: Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead, advise on areas of concern that could prevent meeting P&L objectives, and interface with other Project Control Team.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree (B. Eng, BCom, etc).
  2. Experience: 10+ years of relevant cost control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
  3. Skills: Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel, and preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
  4. Knowledge: Expert Knowledge of project management techniques, critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique, and general project controls policies and procedures.
  5. Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to establish priorities and work under pressure, solid report writing, communication and presentation skills, effective problem-solving skills, and strong analytical skills.
