Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at Groupe Kenworth Montréal, a division of PACCAR of Canada. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles, diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, electrical, and cabin systems, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components on trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups;
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy vehicles;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery;
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
  • French and English language proficiency (spoken and reading);
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 - bonus);
  • Possess a tool box and enrollment in the Comité Paritaire d'Automobiles (CPA).
