Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Assembler to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant of Canada. As a Food Assembler, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling food items for our customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to our menu standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and food dispensers
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
