Job Summary

Laugh N' Learn ABC Guarderia is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Supervision: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
  • Activity Planning: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and submitting written observations on children.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
