The Student Financial Advisor Professional will be responsible for assessing the financial needs of students, advising on financial aid options, processes, and requirements, and ensuring that prospective and continuing students have all the tools and information they need to successfully complete the financial aid process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and instructions to students and parents (if applicable) for requesting an FSA ID and completing the online FAFSA application.
  • Give students an estimated financial plan and budgeting guidance.
  • Able to package prospective students in a timely and independent manner.
  • Educate, support, and manage the financial aid process for students.
  • Evaluate students' academic progress to ensure students stay eligible for their financial aid program(s).
  • Determine eligibility and process Smith Chason scholarship applications.
