Job Description

Omega Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Expertise: Provide high-quality expertise in architecting principles, approaches, and best practices to support the development of software applications and solutions in a.Net environment.
  • Buy vs Build Analysis: Assist in buy vs build analysis and documentation for software solutions, ensuring that the chosen approach aligns with business requirements.
  • Design and Development: Design frameworks, components, and solutions that satisfy business requirements while maximizing the goal of reuse when applicable.
  • Quality Control: Provide quality control on production implementations, ensuring that the application architecture meets the ministry and GOA enterprise architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise to project team members, producing written specifications as needed, presenting technical information in formal meetings, and facilitating technical discussions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document technical recommendations, provide technical advice and guidance to management, operations, project team members, and relevant others, and ensure change management processes are followed.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and report on the latest technology trends relevant to business needs, making recommendations to project team members pertaining to issues, risks, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of architecting principles, approaches, and best practices in a.Net environment.
  • Experience in buy vs build analysis and documentation for software solutions.
  • Ability to design frameworks, components, and solutions that satisfy business requirements.
  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical recommendations and provide technical advice and guidance.
  • Strong research and evaluation skills, with the ability to report on the latest technology trends.
