We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at NEW WORLD MOMENTUM INC. as a Furniture and Cabinet Remodeling Specialist.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing carpentry tasks, including reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Measure wood products to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
  • Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components
Requirements
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Benefits

Competitive salary range: $40-$60 per hour (based on location)

This is a temporary position with a minimum of 2 years' experience in this field of employment.
