Job Summary

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting and Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating business systems to support financial planning and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial control systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and control, with a focus on business systems analysis and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including financial planning and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification in accounting or finance (e.g. CPA, CMA, CA).
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies.
