We are seeking dynamic and innovative teachers to join our team at Sudbury Catholic District School Board. As an occasional teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including elementary and secondary schools, and contribute to the education and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of subjects, including English, French, and mathematics
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both oral and written, and French for those qualified to teach in an French as a Second Language setting
  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment practices and differentiated instructional approaches
  • Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education and integrating the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations throughout the curriculum
