Distribution Connection Project Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the distribution connection project team
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize tasks
  • Managing project timelines and resources

In addition, the manager will work collaboratively with internal organizational stakeholders across the company to ensure that all customer connections requests are met in a timely and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree (Bachelor of Technology with a concentration on Energy Systems, Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred) or Electrical/Electromechanical Technologist diploma, along with three (3) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge of customer electricity end uses is strongly preferred, as well as program management experience and PMP Certification.

Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement, which allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. Employees are expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person.
