Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field scouting and monitoring to identify weeds, insects, diseases, and other yield-limiting threats.
  • Use integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, satellite imagery, and GPS technology to document notes and recommendations.
  • Represent Central Ontario FS in growers' fields and provide expert advice on crop management.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective agronomic solutions.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an agriculture-related college or university program.
  • Basic understanding of production agriculture.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
