Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our Service/Fixed Operations team at Bruce Chrysler. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with customer vehicles
  • Perform repairs and maintenance services according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements
  • Effectively use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Communicate with service consultants and customers regarding repair progress, additional work, and wait times
  • Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including safe work procedures and reporting work-related injuries
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year Service Station Technician or equivalent experience
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a noisy and dusty environment
