Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Farm Laborer to join our team at Future Farms. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm operations, including clearing fields, handling animals, and monitoring animal health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear fields of wood and stones
  • Diagnose livestock health issues
  • Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses
  • Handling animals
  • Monitor the calving process
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Perform livestock feeding
  • Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
  • Track and report on current feed inventory
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Physically demanding
  • Attention to detail
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Environment

Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, livestock combination farming, outdoors, livestock, all weather conditions.
