Challenger Geomatics, a leading employee-owned land surveying firm, is seeking a skilled Survey Party Chief to join our team in Alberta. As a key member of our survey operations team, you will be responsible for collecting data in the field and collaborating with our experienced project managers on various survey assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field surveys and work closely with project managers to ensure client objectives are met.
- Provide accurate documentation to office staff, including field notes, computations, and survey data.
- Communicate effectively with team members and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles, and adhere to health and safety procedures.
- Diploma in Geomatics or related field, along with previous survey experience.
- Experience in the energy sector or construction is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Any valid safety certificates are an asset (e.g., H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Wildlife Awareness).
- Physical fitness to work outdoors in challenging conditions.
