Job Title: Care Aide

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Aide to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living and attending to individual care needs.
  • Notify management of changes in condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.
  • Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies.
  • Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
Qualifications:
  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Preferred: HCA Diploma, registration with BC Care Registry, and current Food Safe and First Aid certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have previous experience working with seniors.
