About the Role:
As a Senior Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for structuring and managing existing and new deals, focusing on the day-to-day risk management of the files within the commercial portfolio. This includes underwriting large and complex credits, developing an effective sales growth strategy, and providing guidance to other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing financial solutions and risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, identifying business opportunities and growing revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales growth strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to other team members on credit policy and practice.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry, with a background in business banking.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio in a complex commercial and First Nations industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of portfolio management.
- Acceptable criminal record check and credit check.
