Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Risk Management Group as Anti-Money Laundering Investigators. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in reviewing alerts from multiple sources, analyzing client relationships, and assessing risks to CIBC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor AML transactions and analyze customer account activities to identify potential risks.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client relationships to assess and address risks to CIBC.
  • Communicate detailed information effectively to stakeholders, summarizing analysis and recommending courses of action.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and terrorist financing frameworks, including regulatory requirements.
