About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Georgian Bay Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Plan and prepare menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers. Determine the size of food portions and estimate food requirements for their realization.

Kitchen Operations

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Supply Chain Management

Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our customers.

Team Leadership

Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Schedule

35 hours per week.
