The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Technology Innovator to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art cloud video encoders for our cutting-edge VPU (Video Processing Unit).

  • Lead the logic design and micro-architecture efforts for video hardware codec blocks.
  • Specify algorithms and design interfaces to enhance codec performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD or MSc in a related field, or equivalent industry experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of video technology and hardware design.
  • A strong background in video compression and video codec software/hardware design.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ for video codec reference models.
  • A solid understanding of DSP/Multimedia and hardware implementation is preferred.
