Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from debris and imperfections.
  • Repair Work: Repair cracks and holes in walls and other surfaces, using appropriate materials to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Paint Mixing: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, taking into account factors such as lighting and surface porosity.
  • Application: Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using various techniques to achieve a professional finish.
  • Erecting Scaffolding: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary, ensuring safe access to work areas.
  • Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for each job, taking into account factors such as surface area and complexity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Languages: English is the primary language used in this role.
