BMO Financial Group is seeking a skilled Mortgage Specialist to join our team. This role involves cultivating relationships with referral networks and identifying sales opportunities to drive business results.

• Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with referral sources to generate mortgage leads.
• Actively identify sales opportunities and refer them to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
• Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results.

• Proactively contact referral and origination sources to discuss home financing solutions.
• Assist with the implementation of targeted marketing programs and promotions.
• Search for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to position to the branch for individual sales and profitability goals.

• Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
