Job Summary
The successful candidate will operate all MRI scanners to perform diagnostic exams according to physician orders. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient flow of patients in this area, as well as accurate data entry in the RIS and PACS systems.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
- Provide radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physicians.
- Orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.
- Assist nursing staff in the area, e.g., witnessing medication administration and documenting in Pyxis.

Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school program.
- ARRT certification with current registration required.
- BLS CPR certification required; PALS and NRP are a plus.
- At least 6 months of Pediatric MRI experience, with preference given to candidates with MRI training program experience and a clinical internship or one year of MRI experience.
