About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Gents Barber. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Haircutting and Grooming: Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or preferences, and provide advice on suitable hairstyles.
  • Shaving and Trimming: Shave and trim beards and mustaches to clients' specifications.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions

  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
