About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
    • Be licensed to practice medicine in Canada
  • Experience and Certifications
    • Have experience in the field of psychiatry, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices
    • Hold certifications such as the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills
    • Have a strong understanding of clinical medicine, with a focus on psychiatry
    • Be able to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Security and Safety
    • Be eligible for professional liability insurance
    • Have a valid driver's licence
  • Screening Questions
    • Be available for shift or on-call work
    • Be currently legally able to work in Canada
    • Be willing to relocate for this position
    • Have previous experience in this field of employment
    • Have the required certifications
