Bicycle Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at D'ORNELLAS BIKE SHOP LTD. As a Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing bicycles to ensure they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect bicycles to determine the requirements for repair
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
  • Test and adjust repaired bicycles for proper functioning
  • Calibrate bicycles using hand tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle overtime
  • Physically demanding work, up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word skills
  • Experience with meters, bicycle, sporting goods and recreational items, electronic, and mechanical areas of specialization
  • Criminal record check and drug test
Work Environment:
  • Dusty and noisy work site environment
  • Outdoors and urban area work setting
