Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in the St. Catharines area. As a member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies and procedures, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure excellent care and maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and smooth transitions for residents.
  • Implement effective drug management protocols and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively with others, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
  • Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
