We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in the St. Catharines area. As a member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver individualized nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies and procedures, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure excellent care and maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and smooth transitions for residents.
- Implement effective drug management protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct regular assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
**Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Able to work effectively with others, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
