The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and possess relevant certifications such as Forklift Operator Certification.
As a Plastic Bag Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic bag manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to optimize production efficiency
- Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae to achieve precise material composition
- Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet industry standards
- Unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing
- Pack items for shipping and distribution
- Adjust calender rollers for production line changes
- Set up and operate extruding machines to produce high-quality plastic compounds
- Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production
- Start up or shut down process equipment according to established procedures
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a plastic bag manufacturing environment
- Relevant certifications such as Forklift Operator Certification
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
